About Caswell Beach

Caswell Beach is one the charming coastal towns of the Brunswick Islands along the southernmost coast of North Carolina.  This sleepy, seaside village is located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Cape Fear River and sits roughly halfway between the popular river town of Wilmington, N.C. and the vacation and golfing hotspot of Myrtle Beach, S.C.  Caswell Beach is the least populated of all the beaches in the Brunswick Islands.

The town is just 4.1 square miles of stunning shoreline which lends to its charm and enduring popularity.  There are approximately 12 walkways spread along the beach strand, most of which are wheelchair accessible, providing easy access for any beachcomber. Caswell Beach also serves as a protected sea-turtle nesting area.  Guests have an opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of watching a tiny sea turtle hatch and inch its way to the ocean for its first swim.
